The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London. 

At the Gateway Academy we are passionate about learning. Our highest priority is to provide an environment to our pupils that excites, motivates and challenges them and encourages lifelong learning and an interest in the world around them. 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive, professional and competent administrator with first aid experience. Our ideal candidate will be confident, a team player and has previous experience of working in an administration role within a school environment with the ability to take on a range of administrative and receptionist duties within the school. Experience of using SIMS and Microsoft Office would be an advantage. It is important that you are able to handle confidential issues, be flexible and organised. 

As First Aid Coordinator you will be required to collate accurate records of student, staff and visitor first aid needs, coordinate and arrange first aid training for staff across the GLC Academies, maintain records and disseminate important information and updates to staff. Although a first aid qualification would be desirable, this is not essential as full training can be provided.
