GLC Gateway Learning Community: GLC HR Manager
Contract Type: 37 hours per week, term time plus negotiable additional weeks.
Contract Term: Permanent
The GLC is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated individual to strategically lead the HR provision across our trust of 5 academies. You will be responsible for ensuring developing and overseeing a recruitment and retention strategy for the Trust as well as ensuring that the GLC is operating within a legally robust HR policy and procedural framework. You will work closely with each academy’s Support Staff Manager to embed outstanding practice at a local level in each separate academy.
This key role is crucial to our success and is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated individual who has excellent organisational and strategic management skills, with an ability to work effectively at all levels with the organisation. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to build effective working relationships with directors, academy staff, pupils, their parents and members of the wider community.
