GLC Gateway Academy: Community Receptionist
Contract Type: 25 hours per week, term time only [16:00 – 21:00]

The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London. Our mission is to offer everyone opportunities to develop as high achieving, resilient, healthy, aspirational, caring and fulfilled members of society.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident person to be responsible for our reception lettings desk during out of school hours and to assist Lettees with any requirements. The successful candidate will be required to undertake relevant duties associated with use of the premises, flexibility to work occasional weekends would be an advantage.
Candidates must be able to use their own initiative and will have the following:
- good standard of education; Maths and English GCSE grades A – C, or equivalent
- good organisation, communication and inter-personal skills
- good knowledge of ICT
- calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
- be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements
