GLC Tilbury Pioneer Academy Site Manager
Tilbury Pioneer Academy is part of the larger Gateway Learning Community (GLC): a partnership of local primary and secondary schools committed to working together to achieve the highest educational standards for the whole community and is a friendly school that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas of our work with young people.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and committed person with a sense of humour responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our school buildings and grounds. This is an opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team at a very exciting time as we expand our premises and facilities. They will be expected to work 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year with flexible timings between 7am and 6pm depending on the needs of the school.
The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions, be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative and must hold a current full clean driving licence and be prepared to drive the Gateway Learning Community minibuses. The ability to carry out DIY including decorating, repairs, plumbing and carpentry would be essential.
