Salary:  GLC Point 17 – 21 £21,429 - £24,120 FTE

Contract Type: Permanent.  

Hours: 31.25 hours per week - term time only (44.3 weeks)

Start Date:  ASAP

The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London.We are looking to an EAL/Language Lead LSA to work across the trust in partnership with class teachers to support learning.

The post will have a particular focus on supporting pupils with developing their language needs, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) and pupils with speech and language needs, and the staff working with them.  

We are looking to appoint a strong, enthusiastic, committed and creative Learning Support Assistant who is able to work with individuals are small groups of children under the direction of the SENDco and leadership team. Our students’ needs are at the core of our ethos and successful candidates will be required to support the emotional
