    WeWill Campaign - Ormiston Trust

The Gateway Learning Community empowers students by involving them in decision-making both within the school and the wider community. We believe that giving pupils the opportunity to share their views and take part in decisions makes them feel valued and respected, which in turn encourages them to take ownership of their education and school environment.

Our five personal development groups, made up of pupils from across the trust, meet regularly to discuss important issues and explore possibilities for change. These groups focus on: Telling Our Story, Creating Our Futures, Protecting Our Planet, Thriving, and Solving Our Problems. Through partnerships with local and national organisations, we aim to create a more supportive and enriching educational environment that benefits all.

By bringing together various partnerships, the community can create a richer, more supportive, and effective educational environment that benefits everyone involved. This collaborative approach not only enhances learning outcomes, but also strengthens the understanding between the school and the wider community.
