Stage of Career: Early Career Teacher

- Clinics led by the teaching and learning team and leaders across The Gateway Learning Community
- A bespoke programme of professional development
- An allocated mentor and tutor to support your successful completion of the 2-year ECT programme
- A well-being mentor in your own academy
Stage of Career: Recently Qualified Teacher
- The development of knowledge and skills identified as targets at the end of the ECT programme
- A well-being mentor in your own academy
- Structured targeted support from phase leaders through core team meetings and planning, preparation and assessment time
- Professional conversations and support to consider future career aspirations
Stage of Career: Established teacher
- A differentiated programme of professional development, including opportunities to observe best practice within your own academy and across The Trust
- Regular opportunities for professional reading and action research to inform Trust policies and approaches
- Opportunities to become a mentor for a teacher in the early stages of their career, including initial teacher training and the early career teacher programme
- Opportunities to become a teaching and learning coach for teachers at the early stages of their career
- Opportunities to visit local and national schools with a particular focus where this has been highlighted a model of good practice
Stage of Career: Middle & Senior Leaders
- Opportunities to complete‘ National Professional Qualifications’ in a range of areas, including: teaching and learning, behaviour & culture and curriculum
- A wide range of quality leadership development opportunities within each academy, across the Trust and through our various partnerships
- Opportunities to visit local and national schools with a particular focus where this has been highlighted a model of good practice
- The opportunity to contribute to the policies and practices across The Trust through collaborative working at Trust action groups
- Opportunities to engage in peer reviews across the Trust
- Opportunities to work with the Trust’s central team to further develop knowledge and skills
- The opportunity to lead professional development for teachers within each academy and across the Trust
